Comments on what the budget is likely to mean from Alistair Darling in 2008. Personally I would like him to scrap the ecise licence on all vehicles and add the tax to fuel. This would help cut congestion on our roads. Put a tax on aviation fuel.

There is a world recession already started in out "Global economy" - you have the money - bargains will be had. but lame ducks will go to the wall. I would recommend AMD an underpriced indusstry leader for example.

Banks around the world are suffering because of the sub prime martgage crisis in the USA. Barclay's are suffering just based on rumours. China has inflation and is raising interest rates. Global economic cooling has started. Food prices are rising around the world.

The article argues that Human Rights are now something we British have to go cap in hand to the Judiciary to ask for. The problem is it's is mostly right. The Act was badly drafted and serves only criminals and terrorists with access to the legal aid system.

This is the United Nations Enable initiative. Never heard of it? No me neither until this week. Apparently, it's an iniative that extends through 2006 and they ahev another meeting of their ad hoc commitee on the 14th of August.

Is WGA Windows Genuine Advantage spyware?

Of course WGA is spyware. I got it on my computer. I deleted the WGA files. In fact since I stopped it downloading stuff from Microsoft it's been much more stable! I don't like pre-installed software.
